Evergive is inspired by the concept of sadaqah jariyah — charity whose benefit continues over time. Evergive seeks to revive that spirit in a modern, responsibly governed way, creating a structure intended to support charities over time through ongoing discretionary grantsThe aim of the model is to strengthen the long-term resilience of participating charities and to support sustained impact over time. The level and timing of this support may vary over time.
When you choose to make an additional gift via Evergive while donating on MyTenDays, your contribution becomes part of a pooled charitable reserve, governed by our independent Donor Advised Fund (DAF) partner, in accordance with its grant-making and investment policies. This is different from a standard donation: rather than being sent directly to a charity, your funds are allocated to a long-term strategic reserve, which may include investment exposure. From this reserve, the DAF makes ongoing discretionary grants to charity. The value of the reserve — and therefore the grants it can support — may increase or decrease over time. The timing and level of those grants will depend on reserve performance and trustee decisions.
Evergive provides regular updates on reserve performance and grants distributed, so you can see how your contribution is helping to build lasting support for important causes.
